Kirsis Perez, ARNP, FNP is licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse in the State of Florida, which authorizes care for patients located anywhere in the state. The only geographic requirement is that you are physically in Florida at the time of your appointment.

What Florida licensure actually means
A Florida APRN license authorizes practice for patients located in Florida. It does not extend across state lines, which is why the location question comes up at booking and why a visit cannot go ahead if you are out of state that day.
Full practice authority is a separate matter. It means this practice can evaluate, diagnose, order testing, and prescribe without a supervising physician signing off, so decisions get made during your visit rather than waiting in a queue.
What happens where
- By video: the visit itself, history, treatment decisions, prescriptions, lab ordering, results review, referrals.
- At a lab near you: blood draws and urine samples.
- At a pharmacy or clinic near you: vaccines.
- In person, by referral: physical examinations, imaging, procedures, and specialist care.
Being honest about the limits
Telehealth is not a complete substitute for in-person medicine and a practice that claims otherwise is overselling. There is no listening to your lungs, no examining an ear, no feeling an abdomen. When one of those is what your situation calls for, you will be told and directed to where it can be done, usually the same day.

All of it. Florida licensure is statewide, so patients in Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, Ocala, Gainesville, Fort Myers, Tallahassee, the Keys, and everywhere in between are equally eligible.
Do I have to be a Florida resident?
No. What matters is where you physically are during the appointment, not where you live. You must be located in Florida at the time of the visit.
What if I am traveling out of state?
Your visit would need to be rescheduled for a time when you are back in Florida. This is a licensure rule, not a practice preference.
How do labs work without an office?
Lab orders are sent electronically to a draw site near you. You go in, give the sample, and the results come back to the practice to review with you.
Where do prescriptions go?
Electronically to whichever pharmacy you use, including mail-order.
Is a video visit private?
Visits are conducted over a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Find somewhere you can speak freely, which matters more to the quality of the visit than most people expect.
